Over the past 28 years visicontrol successfully developed numerous innovative inspection methods.

Through a sequence of multiple images visicontrol is now able to fully inspect threads with standard matrix cameras and common lenses. Where usually line scan cameras with special lenses inspect outer surfaces and threads, visicontrol adapted the functionalities to a much easier and advanced method

This method takes the inspection method of line scan cameras to matrix cameras with standard lenses without transfering the disadvantages of line scan cameras. In combination with our newly developed image processing system MVS-70 and our innovative light controler LC-70 this method reaches maximum precision at record breaking speeds for 360° thread inspections. Parallel to taking 180 pictures per second this system does the calculations in real time.
