visiSort-T now expandable for high precision inspection
As is well known, visicontrol has been presenting itself as an innovator in the field of industrial image processing for years. In order to be able to offer the optimal solution for our customers, visicontrol also makes use of external expertise.
In this case, visicontrol integrates high-precision distance measurements with the ConfocalDT confocal inspection system from Mikro-Epsilon into a visiSort-T.
Measurements of heights, depths, thicknesses with tolerances down to +/- 0.01mm are now possible with process reliability.
With the non-contact point sensor, the test specimen is scanned dynamically as it passes by, making the integration of this system very simple and inexpensive.
The high scan frequency allows inspection performance of over 300 parts/min.
With the ACO the position of the test probe can be adjusted fully automatically in 2 directions to the geometry of different parts.
A change system for different inspection probes is available.
This integrated and automated solution, means lower investment and operating costs for our customers. Since we always inspect contactless and extremely fast, this means lower inspection costs for our customers.
