The specimens can be tested and measured according to the following criteria:

  • General presence check
  • Thread present
  • Thread root, thread lead, external thread diameter
  • Check for foreign parts and chips
  • Measurement of the external shape, i.e. length, diameter, area, chamfer, radii, thread, angle, grooves, cones, number of cogs on cogwheels etc.
  • Centricity test
