SPC Software from visicontrol

Impressive announcements often turn out to conceal rather modest advances. This is why we believe that innovative users of image processing systems will be even more pleased to hear the latest news from visicontrol. There is a new software product: the SPC software for PCs. Not an unusable mega-package but a product developed on the basis of Microsoft Excel for practical quality assurance.

Nowadays, SPC (statistical process control) is first and foremost thought of as automatic data acquisition, plus the monitoring and visualisation of this data. Trends have to be identified and "worst case" scenarios have to be reacted to immediately. The acquired data must be stored centrally and accessed selectively to obtain information on quality. These few basic functions are combined in the visicontrol SPC software to create a powerful tool.

The recorded and centrally stored data is analysed according to different criteria for planning and management. Shift, daily, weekly, monthly or annual reports on different parts, machines or orders are compiled with a click of the mouse.

Everyone can estimate the cost reduction potential for themselves.
