The inspection of different geometric dimensions of a part is one of the central tasks of quality assurance. You are optimally equipped for this with industrial image processing from visicontrol. By using high-grade optics, especially (bi-)telecentric lighting and imaging systems, the environment is created to create optimal images using cameras with 5 megapixel resolution. This high resolution can be increased to the sub-pixel range using software algorithms developed in house. Accuracies of to ±1 micrometer can be reached depending on the image aperture. visicontrol systems are always approved with a measurement capability test to give our customers optimal certainty during measurement. Systems are calibrated with standard gages or upon request with setting masters of the customer.
